Rick Goldberg

Rick Goldberg is the Chief Financial Officer of S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global. In this role, Rick oversees the global financial reporting and performance, strategy, business management, and operations for the division. He is also a member of the Market Intelligence operating committee.

With more than 15 years of accounting and financial services experience, Rick joined Market Intelligence from S&P Dow Jones Indices, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. He has an extensive background in accounting, audit, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), M&A and capital planning. 

Rick joined S&P Global in 2011 and has since held various key management and leadership roles within the Finance organization, including at S&P Global Ratings, where he collaborated with the division’s Chief Commercial Officer and provided financial guidance and input on the global sales organization’s commercial strategy. 

Earlier in his career, Rick was part of an accounting development program at CIGNA Corporation, where he held several accounting and audit roles.

Rick has a graduate degree in business administration from the University of Hartford, as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
