Thomas is an Associate Director, Companies & Transactions Research at S&P Global Commodity Insight. He is responsible for S&P Global Commodity Insight Herold equity analysis, valuations and strategy assessment, specializing in North American E&P companies. He also produces Company Play Analysis. He joined S&P Global after 16 years as a portfolio manager and analyst for a NY based investment partnership. From 1995 to 1999 Thomas worked at John S. Herold, Inc. covering North American E&Ps as well as mergers and acquisitions analysis and valuation. Thomas is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society New York. He holds a BS from SUNY Oswego.
