Amit Rao, Senior Consultant for the Oil Markets Midstream and Downstream practice at S&P Global Commodity Insights

Amit has worked on wide range of consulting and market study projects. He has been involved in due diligence of marketing and retail business of a downstream retail player, maintenance of crude quality bank for a middle east oil company, consulted a Russian refinery by providing them insights into the estimated refinery margin of certain Yardsticks etc.

Prior to joining S&P Global, he worked as an Economist at IFP Energies Nouvelles, an energy R&D firm, in the Natural Gas intelligence division. Previously, he has also worked with Engie E&P (now Neptune Energy) as a Financial Analyst and as a Consultant with Palantir Solutions (now Aucerna).
