Senior Petroleum Economist, Vantage Asset Valuations

Manar Nacer is a Petroleum Economist for Vantage Asset Valuations service at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Manar is part of the Economics Team responsible for research and modelling of valuations of global assets. He is a Petroleum Economist, responsible for economic, fiscal, and regulatory research, analysis, and modelling of a wide range of upstream and midstream developments for S&P Global Commodity Insights. Manar provides valuation, economic analysis and transaction support services to operators, governments and financial institutions assessing investment opportunities across the hydrocarbon value chain. Prior to joining S&P Global in 2022, Manar worked in Charter HCP, working on commercial and strategic assignments, due diligence, and financing of development projects in Africa and the Middle East.

Manar previously worked as a Relationship Manager for a BNP Paribas, managing and growing relationships with clients, and advising them about their financial activities. Prior to it he was with KPMG.

Manar holds Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Henley Business School, UK, a Masters of Banking and Finance from Paris-Nanterre university, France, and BSc Banking from Ecole Superieure de Banque, Algeria.
