Joan Murphy is senior editor of Food and Agricultural Policy at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
With more than two decades of experience covering food policy issues, Joan is in a unique position to report on regulatory changes in government agencies and legislation on Capitol Hill. She brings this expertise from the legacy publication of Food Chemical News to S&P Global's Food and Agricultural Policy. Before joining us, Joan worked as a Washington correspondent for a newspaper covering the fresh produce industry, and as an assistant editor on The Nation's Health, a monthly publication for members of the American Public Health Association. She also worked for a magazine published by a consumer group, and with producers of a television news exposé.
