Jaka Hardiwinangun

Jaka Hardiwinangun is a principal technical researcher for the Latin America Upstream Intelligence team.

Jaka reports on upstream activity, with focus on Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, and the Caribbean. Jaka has over 10 years of experience working as a researcher in the oil & gas industry. He became one of our editor/lead researcher in 2014, after previously working as an E&P contract analyst for the Latin America group beginning in 2011. Jaka grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia, before relocating to the United States to pursue a degree in higher education.

Jaka graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, followed by a post-baccalaureate degree in Geographic Information Systems from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan.
