Sam Hanna is a Senior Principal Analyst, Companies &Transactions Research at S&P Global Energy

Sam is managing a team responsible for S&P Global Energy Herold equity analysis, valuations, and strategy assessment of international oil and gas companies. He is currently focused on the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, with particular emphasis on European Integrated coverage. His expertise in covering oil and gas companies from the valuation and strategy perspective has included research on Brazilian presalt, Global LNG, Canadian oil sands, and deepwater offshore Africa plays.

Sam also has covered National Oil Companies, US E&Ps, and international integrated corporations. He holds a BS and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
