Chiyo Funada is an associate director of Specialty Chemicals at S&P Global Commodity Insights, based in Tokyo, Japan, focused on Inorganic Chemicals and Minerals.
Chiyo joined SRI Consultin (SRIC) in 2007 and worked for Chemical Economic Handbook (CEH) and Specialty Chemical Report (SCUP) team since then. Chiyo joined the IHS Markit (Now part of S&P Global) in 2014 and joined Inorganic Chemicals and Minerals team.
Before joined the firm, Chiyo worked in Nippon Steel Chemicals, CUES and Nippon Environemtal Consultants for twenty years. She has experience of production control of engineering plastics and reseach for project finding related to water treatment and waste treatment project for Developing Countries.
She has a BS in Food Science and Technology from Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University in Japan.
