Irena is our Vice President of Energy Policy Consulting.

Since joining S&P Global over 25 years ago, Irena’s been delivering integrated solutions to her clients across the world – combining policy, commercial and regulatory analysis to great effect. 

Irena specializes in energy policy and climate change. As a member of the State Bar of Texas, Irena has a keen interest in the development of governmental legal and regulatory framework. As every government and organization seeks to decarbonize, Irena focuses on helping her clients understand the carbon markets - and how they can use it to their advantage. Driven by helping governments safeguard the environment whilst meeting their NDC targets, Irena is helping shape the future of environmental policy.

Irena holds an LLM in Petroleum Law and Economics from the University of Dundee and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.
