Nigeria's Wema Bank Plc named Ademola Adebise deputy managing director.

Adebise will oversee the bank's corporate and business directorate, which incorporates corporate banking and the treasury and financial institutions business, among others. He was previously executive director in charge of corporate and the bank's south directorate.

The appointment has been approved by the Nigerian central bank.
