Nordex gets turbine supply contract for 81-MW wind farm in Finland

Nordex SE will supply 18 wind turbines for French project developer Neoen SA's 81-MW Hedet wind farm in Finland, according to an Oct. 4 company news release.

Aside from the supply and installation of turbines, Nordex also will provide maintenance services under a premium service contract covering a period of 15 years.

Located west of Finland, 15 kilometers from the coast of the Bothnian Bay, the wind project will supply power to Google LLC's data center under a power purchase agreement signed in September.

Nordex is expected to install the first turbine in mid-2019, with a targeted online date for the wind farm in the same year.
