Azumah secures environmental permits for planned Wa-Lawra gold mine in Ghana

The Ghanaian Environmental Protection Agency has issued all the necessary environmental permits to Azumah Resources Ltd. related to its planned Wa-Lawra gold mine.

The Australian-listed company said Dec. 20 that the permits provide authorization for construction and operation of both the Kunche-Bepkong mine and processing plant and a satellite open pit at the Julie deposit.

Azumah Resources said it is working on finalizing funding arrangements for in early 2020 ahead of starting construction.
