Simonds Farsons Cisk fiscal H1 profit climbs 14.8% YOY

Simonds Farsons Cisk PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended July 31 amounted to 10 euro cents per share, an increase of 14.5% from 9 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €3.0 million, a gain of 14.8% from €2.6 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew 7.8% on an annual basis to €44.2 million from €41.0 million, and total operating expenses grew 7.2% on an annual basis to €38.7 million from €36.1 million.

Reported net income increased 14.1% from the prior-year period to €4.6 million, or 15 cents per share, from €4.0 million, or 13 cents per share.
