Report: A$2B Sydney logistics park development piques Goodman's interest

Goodman Group is showing interest in purchasing an up to A$2 billion logistics park development in Sydney's Moorebank suburb from Qube Holdings Ltd., The Australian reported, citing sources close to the company.

The 243-hectare Moorebank Logistics Park project is being built in a precinct that also includes Commonwealth-owned land. According to the publication, it is considered the largest real estate development of its kind in Australia.

Goodman, which owns A$4.1 billion development portfolio, declined to comment on its rumored interest to the property, the Dec. 12 report added.

The Australian's DataRoom blog reported earlier that UBS Group AG began gauging interest in the market for the property, which could potentially be divested or spun off.
