Panoramic names new CFO, removes COO position

Panoramic Resources Ltd. said Dec. 12 that it appointed Michael Ball as the new CFO, replacing Trevor Eton whose last day of employment is Jan. 28, 2020.

Prior to Panoramic, Ball was CFO at Alkane Resources Ltd. from October 2012 to June 2018.

Panoramic's CEO and managing director Victor Rajasooriar will be working closely with Ball and David Hume, Savannah's general manager, to ensure a successful ramp-up of the new Savannah North nickel-copper-cobalt ore body operations.

The company also said that Boyd Timler has left the company as COO, effective Dec. 11.

The company has determined that an additional role of COO is redundant, given the recruitment of a new managing director and CEO, and a new general manager at Savannah.

Independence Group NL earlier said that it extended the offer to acquire the remaining shares in Panoramic it does not already own, to Jan. 17, 2020.
