NZX halts trading on cash markets due to connectivity issue

NZX Ltd. halted trading on the New Zealand stock exchange's cash markets for the day Dec. 16 following a network connectivity issue, but said it was working with its vendor to see if it could reopen the derivatives market in the evening.

NZX is operator of the stock exchange.

The company said cash markets would resume normal trading Dec. 17. "NZX is working with its vendor to determine if it can reopen the derivatives market for trading this evening," it said. The statement came after it halted trading on all the boards.
