Clorox completes $500M senior notes offering

Clorox Co. on May 9 completed an offering for $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.900% senior notes due 2028, according to a same-day SEC filing.

This comes after the household products company carried out an underwriting agreement on May 7 to issue and sell the notes to Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Loop Capital Markets LLC, Penserra Securities LLC and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc.

The notes have a public offering price of 99.819% of the principal amount, with a yield to maturity of 3.922%. They bear an annual interest rate of 3.900%, with the interest payment dates set on May 15 and Nov. 15 of each year, starting Nov. 15, 2018.
