AlticeNV-owned SFR has set Aug. 13 as the launch date for its newsports channel SFRSport 1, Telecompaper reported July 12.

SFR Sport 1 will exclusively broadcast the English PremierLeague in France for the next three seasons, according to the report.

The French operatorreportedly also added five other new channels for ADSL/FTTH subscribers. Thesechannels include NationalGeographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, Voyage, Canal J and TiJ.
