Leeds Group fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Leeds Group plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Nov. 30, 2015, came to 2 Great British pence per share, a decrease from 2 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £633,750, a decrease from £643,130 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue totaled £18.5 million, compared with £18.6 million in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to £17.5 million, compared with £17.5 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income fell year over year to £692,000, or 3 pence per share, from £701,000, or 3 pence per share.
