Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC named CFO Trevor Strain group chief finance and commercial officer after taking on the additional role of group commercial director.

The appointment is effective immediately, according to an Oct. 17 news release.

Strain takes over the commercial director responsibilities from Darren Blackhurst, who is moving to a projects role reporting to the CEO.
