Lake Resources NL is set to start drilling at its wholly-owned Cauchari lithium brine project in Argentina at the end of September.

The company will start drilling at Cauchari West, targeting the margins of the adjacent joint venture projects: Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA and Lithium Americas Corp.'s Cauchari-Olaroz project and Orocobre Ltd. and Advantage Lithium Corp.'s Cauchari project.

Lake said Aug. 14 that it expects the known, high-grade lithium brines from the adjacent projects to extend into its leases.
