Broadcom grosses $1.25 billion from debt offering

Broadcom Ltd raised gross proceeds of $1.25 billion from an offering of 3.5% senior unsecured notes due Jan. 15, 2028.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and acquisitions or investments.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Ltd., Bank of Montreal, Barclays PLC, Citigroup Inc., Credit Suisse Group AG, Deutsche Bank AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc., Mizuho Financial Group Inc., Royal Bank of Canada, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., Bank of Nova Scotia and Wells Fargo & Co. were the lead underwriters.
