Hull Street Energy LLC is now the sole owner of the 240-MW Crockett Cogeneration facility in Contra Costa County, Calif., after acquiring the remaining 8.3% stake in the power plant from Osaka Gas Co. Ltd.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hull Street Energy acquired a 91.7% stake in the gas-fired plant from BlackRock Inc.'s Global Energy & Power Infrastructure Fund I in November 2021.
Since the majority stake acquisition, Hull Street Energy's critical power infrastructure business unit, Milepost Power Holdings, has been managing the Crockett facility.
According to S&P Global Market Intelligence data, Crockett Cogeneration sells its output to PG&E Corp. subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Co. under a 30-year power purchase agreement that will expire in May 2026.
Troutman Pepper was legal counsel to Hull Street Energy for the most recent transaction.
