AMP to delist from NZX

AMP Ltd. will delist from New Zealand's exchange, NZX, ahead of its private markets demerger in the first half of 2022.

The company's last trading day on the NZX will be Feb. 2, 2022. It will solely trade on the Australian stock exchange, effective Feb. 7, 2022, according to a Dec. 21 release.

The delisting reflects the smaller number and lower level of holdings of AMP shareholders on the NZX, following greater accessibility of the ASX to New Zealand-based shareholders.

Trading of AMP shares on the Australian bourse can be done for New Zealand shareholders by stockbrokers who can facilitate trade through the ASX, the company said.
