US bank capital offerings down 35.7% YOY despite preferred equity bounce

Bank capital offerings totaled $28.40 billion in the first quarter, a 35.7% decrease from a year ago and a 125.7% increase from the previous quarter, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
