St. Louis, Mo.-based Stifel Financial Corp. is acquiring German financial advisory firm ACXIT Capital Partners.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ACXIT serves European middle-market clients and entrepreneurs, adding geographical breadth and regional market expertise to Stifel's platform, Stifel's head of European investment banking, Rob Mann, said in a press release. Stifel has an investment banking presence in the U.K. and Europe with more than 180 professionals across the region's major financial centers.
Composed of about 50 professionals, ACXIT primarily operates from its offices in Frankfurt, Zurich and Munich. Since its founding in 1999, it has completed nearly 500 transactions, including M&A, capital markets, and debt advisory and restructuring.
After the deal's closing, ACXIT founder Johannes Lucas and senior managing partner Thomas Klack will become co-heads of DACH advisory at Stifel, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, according to the release.
ACXIT senior managing partners Jens Tschauder and Tobias Warkus will also join Stifel's DACH management board.
