London-headquartered Gore Street Capital Ltd.'s energy storage fund will acquire a portfolio of eight energy storage assets in Texas from Perfect Power Solutions Texas LLC, with closing anticipated within 30 days.
The portfolio comprises eight 9.9-MW storage projects with a total capacity of 79.2 MW. Three of the projects, each being 20-MWh systems, have been operating since September 2021, with the remaining five expected to start operations within the next year, Gore Street said in a March 10 news release.
Perfect Power Solutions Texas is an SER Capital Partners portfolio company and an affiliate of Perfect Power LLC. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Gore Street said the deal would be its first investment in the U.S. and it will have 262 MW in operating assets and a total portfolio of 708 MW following the acquisition.
