Deal Wrap: Vista Equity backs Flash; Advent buys Medius minority stake

* Lower-middle-market private equity firm Periscope Equity LLC exited Power Digital as the digital performance marketing services company received a new strategic capital investment from Court Square Capital Partners. Canaccord Genuity was financial adviser to Power, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP was its legal adviser.

* Odyssey Investment Partners LLC, a middle-market investor, added engineered plastic component supplier Pexco LLC to its portfolio, buying it from AEA Investors LP. Latham & Watkins LLP and KPMG were Odyssey's legal and financial advisers, respectively.

* Vista Equity Partners led an over $250 million strategic investment in Flash, together with the cloud parking software company's existing investor L Catterton. Evercore was Flash's financial adviser.

* Middle-market firm LDC (Managers) Ltd. made a significant minority investment in Aspire Technology Solutions in a deal that valued the U.K.-based IT managed service and cybersecurity provider at £85 million. Clearwater International was an adviser to Aspire, Muckle was its legal adviser and Armstrong was its commercial adviser. PwC and Cavu were corporate finance advisers to LDC, Womble Bond Dickinson was its legal adviser and KPMG was its financial due diligence adviser.

* Advent International Corp. bought a minority interest in Swedish pay solutions provider Medius AB for an undisclosed amount, with Marlin Equity Partners LLC retaining majority ownership in the business.

* KPS Capital Partners LP agreed to purchase American Securities LLC-backed Prince International Corp.'s porcelain enamel, glass coatings, forehearth colorants and frit-based metallurgical products businesses. The businesses will operate as a new standalone company called Pemco International upon completion of the transaction, which is expected to occur in the first half of the second quarter. Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP was legal adviser to KPS, while Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Barclays were legal and financial counsels to Prince, respectively.

* Cobepa SA provided significant investment to drug discovery services company Reaction Biology Corp. William Blair & Co. was financial adviser to Reaction. Piper Sandler was financial adviser and White & Case LLP was legal adviser to Cobepa. Golub Capital provided financing for the transaction.

* A consortium consisting of Capital D, investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, and a group formed by Keyhaven Capital Partners Ltd. and family offices acquired a 64% majority stake in London-based software-as-a-service company Phrasee Ltd. Deloitte was financial and tax due diligence adviser to Capital D, Crosslake Technologies was its technical due diligence adviser, Squire Patton Boggs was its legal due diligence adviser and Squires Patton Boggs and Priestley Soundy were its legal advisers. Results International Group was financial adviser to Phrasee, Orrick was its legal adviser and Blick Rothenberg was its tax adviser.

* Gemspring Capital Management LLC made a strategic minority investment in support of IMB Partners' acquisition of specialty electrical construction services company Carr & Duff Inc.
