Verisk Analytics Inc. Chair, President and CEO Scott Stephenson is set to retire from the company following its 2022 annual shareholders meeting, the company announced in a news release.
The Verisk board named Lee Shavel, currently CFO of Verisk and group president, to become CEO upon Stephenson's retirement, in line with the company's succession plan.
Shavel's replacement as CFO will be named at a later date.
Mark Anquillare, currently COO of Verisk and group president, will become president of Verisk following the shareholders meeting.
The roles of chair and CEO will be separated upon Stephenson's retirement, according to the release.
Verisk is yet to announce the date of its 2022 annual shareholders meeting in the coming weeks, according to a Feb. 18 regulatory filing.
