Mid-Atlantic
Fairfield, N.J.-based Kearny Bank intends to close its branch office at 1924 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, Somerset County, N.J., on June 18, according to the State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.

The State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance on March 5 approved the application of New York-based Savoy Bank to establish a full-service branch office at 4400 Route 9, Freehold, Monmouth County, N.J.

Oak Ridge, N.J.-based Lakeland Bank in February closed three branches, according to the State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. The closed branches were at 6 Carey Ave., Butler, Morris County, N.J.; 901 Route 23 S. Pompton Plains, Morris County, N.J.; and 995 Bloomfield Ave., W. Caldwell, Essex County, N.J.

Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Co. in Pennsylvania on Feb. 23 opened a de novo branch at 415 Mahoning St., Milton, Northumberland County, Pa., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities.

Pennsylvania-based Somerset Trust Co. in February opened two de novo branches, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities. One branch was at 100 Quaker Church Road, Perryopolis, Fayette County, Pa., while the other was an out-of-state branch at 351 E. Main St., Frostburg, Allegany County, Md.
Midwest
Kansas City, Mo.-based UMB Bank NA's Specialty Trust and Agency Solutions group opened an office in Dublin, Ireland, granting the bank access to offer trust services in one of the international economic centers for structured finance. UMB will operate in Ireland through UMBF Trust and Agency Services (Ireland) Ltd.
Southeast
Clearwater, Fla.-based Nicholas Financial Inc. will hold a grand opening of its newest branch office in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area at 2273 W. 7800 S., Suite #4, West Jordan, Utah, on March 10.

Batesville, Ark.-based First Community Bank on March 8 applied with the Arkansas State Bank Department for a branch at 766 Harkrider St., Conway, Faulkner County, Ark.

Atlanta-based Ameris Bank in February received the approval of the State of Georgia Department of Banking and Finance for the establishment of two branches: at One Morrocroft Centre, Ste 310, Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, N.C.; and at 301 N Main St., Ste 300, Greenville, Greenville County, S.C.

Tucker, Ga.-based Go Energy Financial CU in February moved its branch at 11490 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, Douglas County, Ga., to 3400 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Hiram, Paulding County, Ga., according to the State of Georgia Department of Banking and Finance.
West
Anaheim, Calif.-based CU of Southern California opened a full-service branch in West Los Angeles, next door to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Mark Goodson building and close to the Beverly Center shopping mall. The branch was relocated from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to its new location for more convenience and community access.

San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co. closed a branch in Minneapolis at the Wells Fargo towers, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported March 3. A spokeswoman for the bank told the news outlet that the branch, which has been closed since the start of the pandemic, had primarily been used for employees; with the majority of employees still working from home, the bank decided to shutter the branch permanently.
