Illinois-based Pioneer State Bank board chair retires

Jim Bann, a director of Earlville, Ill.-based NBE Bancshares Inc. and chairman and director of unit Pioneer State Bank, retired from those positions, effective in January, according to a Feb. 5 report by The Mendota (Ill.) Reporter.

Pioneer State Bank CEO Michael Stevens will replace Bann as board chair, according to the report.

Bann will serve in an advisory capacity as chairman emeritus of NBE Bancshares, the news outlet added.
