Cox Enterprises names CEO

Cox Enterprises Inc. named Alexander Taylor as chairperson and CEO of the company, effective Jan. 1, 2022, according to a Dec. 13 news release.

Taylor is the great-grandson of Cox Enterprises founder James Cox.

Current Chairperson James Kennedy will move to the role of chairperson emeritus and will remain a member of the company's board.

Meanwhile, Jill Campbell, former chief operations officer of Cox Communications Inc., will become co-president and chief people and operations officer of Cox Enterprises, also effective Jan. 1, 2022. Dallas Clement, former Cox Automotive Inc. CFO, will become co-president and CFO of Cox Enterprises.
