Choice Hotels adds 15 US hotels to MainStay Suites brand

Choice Hotels International Inc. signed franchise agreements with Gulf Coast Hotel Management Inc. to convert 15 MainStay Suites hotels across the U.S.

The 15 hotels significantly increase the brand's footprint in the midscale extended-stay space and add close to 1,700 rooms to the hotelier's portfolio.

The properties are in Centennial, Colo.; Meriden, Conn.; Altamonte Springs, Fla.; Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Wheeling, Ill.; Louisville, Ky.; Auburn Hills and Farmington Hills, Mich.; Omaha, Neb.; Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C.; Blue Ash, Ohio; and Salt Lake City.
