Maren Josefs joined S&P Global Ratings in 2004, and is an Associate Director in the firm’s Insurance Ratings Group based in London.
Maren Josefs joined S&P Global Ratings in 2004, and is an Associate Director in the firm’s Insurance Ratings Group based in London. Maren is a lead analyst for ILS globally. Since joining she has been a primary analyst on a wide range of insurance securitizations working closely with analysts in other teams including Structured Finance, to develop rating methodologies and assign ratings. At the same time, she is a primary analyst for issuers in the P&I and global reinsurance market with a keen interest in how technology impacts the future of insurance.
Previous to joining S&P Global Ratings, Maren worked for Aon Capital Markets in London structuring alternative risk transfer transactions for the firm’s clients.

In 2015 he co-founded InsTech– the world’s leading insurtech and digital insurance intelligence network – and more recently set up Quantum London, to understand and articulate the steps business executives must take to become “quantum ready” in preparation for the near-future arrival of quantum computing.
