After navigating a volatile Q1, the capital markets stabilized in 2023 and finished the year with a small flurry of IPO activity. Corporations maintained access to the debt markets despite higher interest rates and bank liquidity concerns. However, equity issuance was tamped down across the board. Although the deal pipeline looks promising, investors are still waiting to see whether central banks require further action to temper inflation and how markets will react before ramping up support for new deals.

He began his career at Credit Suisse as a fixed income research analyst on the #1 ranked mortgage ABS research team by Institutional Investor Magazine and later became a trader of distressed MBS and credit default swaps on ABS.
