Mike earned his B.A. in Economics from Hampden Sydney College and J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.

Matt Shulman was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Arch Insurance North America in January 2019.
Matt Shulman was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Arch Insurance North America in January 2019. He most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Arch Insurance’s European operations, a role he assumed in September 2016. He joined Arch Insurance U.S. in 2009, first serving as Senior Vice President and most recently as Executive Vice President overseeing the Executive Assurance and Professional Liability divisions. Mr. Shulman was employed previously by The Hartford within the Financial Products division since 2000 where he most recently managed their Commercial D&O Department. Prior to The Hartford, he worked at Reliance National in various underwriting roles within the financial products division. Mr. Shulman has a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
