Nordic streaming company Viaplay Group AB and Paramount Global arm Paramount Global Content Distribution agreed to a content licensing deal for the latter's content to be distributed to Viaplay customers in the Nordic and Baltic regions as well as Poland and the Netherlands.
Under the agreement, series and library box sets from Paramount Global's CBS, The CW, Paramount Television Studios and SHOWTIME will be available on Viaplay's streaming platform, according to a June 30 news release.
The titles covered under the deal include "CSI: Vegas," "CSI: NY," "The Good Wife," "Elementary," "Madam Secretary," "A Million Little Things" and "Walker."
Viaplay also has long-term contracts with Sony Entertainment Inc., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. and NBCUniversal Media LLC.
