China Ping An Insurance's global mezzanine fund raises $307M

Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd.'s China Ping An Insurance Overseas (Holdings) Ltd. has announced the closing of the Ping An Global Mezzanine Fund.

The fund secured $307 million from clients' commitments and a Goldman Sachs credit facility. Its investments will focus on private corporate debts such as mezzanine and unitranche loans in overseas markets.

Ping An Overseas Holdings also invested in the fund.
