Hong Kong-basedCITIC Telecom CPC, a subsidiary of CITIC Telecom International Holdings Ltd.,plans to expand its cloud operations beyond the Asia-Pacific region to theUnited States and Europe later this year, the South China Morning Post reported July 7.

It will create new cloud service centers in Los Angeles andFrankfurt, increasing the company's number of facilities around the world to 12.The company has reportedly been expanding into the Russian-speaking markets ofcentral Asia, aided by its recent acquisition of data center services provider LinxTelecommunications.

According to the report, CITIC Telecom CPC does not expectthe economic turmoil caused by the recent Brexit to affect its plans.
