Petrofac Ltd. entered into a well management contract under Maersk Drilling A/S's master alliance agreement with exploration company Seapulse Ltd.
Under the alliance, Maersk Drilling will provide drilling services and related services for a global offshore oil and gas exploration program.
Maersk appointed Petrofac to deliver well management services, including project and supply chain management support for shallow water and deepwater wells, according to a Dec. 11 news release from Petrofac. No financial details were disclosed.
The work scope includes two wells in the U.K. North Sea, which are slated to start drilling in the second half of 2020.
Maersk also appointed Halliburton Co. to deliver integrated well services.
