The iBoxx Offshore RMB China Government Bond Index is designed to measure the performance of CNH-denominated sovereign bonds issued by the Government of the People's Republic of China in the offshore RMB bond market. The index includes bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of CNH 500 million. Bonds with a minimum initial time to maturity of 18 months at issuance are eligible for inclusion and remain in the index until maturity. The index includes bonds settled outside of mainland China (except Taiwan), and defaulted bonds are ineligible.
