iBoxx Global Green Bonds Select (GBP Unhedged)

The iBoxx Global Green Bonds Select (GBP Unhedged) is designed to measure the performance of global green bonds denominated in USD, EUR, GBP and CAD. The index includes investment grade and sub-investment grade bonds that are not in default, issued by central governments, sub-sovereigns, agencies, supranationals, financial institutions and corporations with minimum amounts outstanding of EUR, GBP or USD 250 million, or CAD 300 million in their respective currencies. Securities must have a minimum initial time to maturity of 18 months at issuance and are held until maturity, with maturity extensions requiring a minimum of 18 months remaining time to maturity from the extension date. Bonds must be classified as green bonds by the Climate Bond Initiative (CBI), adhering to CBI's Climate Bonds Taxonomy, which evaluates credibility of assets and environmental impact based on the 2°C global warming target set by the Paris Agreement.
