The iBoxx EUR Turkey Covered Index is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated covered bonds issued by Turkish financial institutions, with a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 500 million for new issues and EUR 1 billion for legacy bonds. Bonds must have remaining time to maturity of at least one year at rebalancing and must be secured by a general pool of assets in case of issuer insolvency, particularly those conforming to UCITS 22.4 or similar directives, or bonds with equivalent risk and credit profile considered by the market as covered bonds.
