The iBoxx € Non-Financials is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated corporate debt from non-financial sectors. The index includes fixed-rate bonds with a minimum remaining time to maturity of one year at rebalancing and minimum amount outstanding of EUR 500 million for new issues and EUR 1 billion for legacy currency bonds. The eligible securities must be issued by corporations from sectors including Basic Materials, Consumer Goods, Consumer Services, Energy, Health Care, Industrials, Technology, Telecommunications and Utilities. Only bonds whose cash flow can be determined in advance are eligible, while retail bonds, private placements, floating rate notes, convertible bonds and bonds with differences between accrual and coupon payment periods are excluded.
