The iBoxx EUR EU-HQLA Level 2B Index is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated bonds classified as Level 2B according to the Capital Requirement Regulation (CRR), with a minimum amount outstanding or EUR 500 million. The index includes covered bonds from European Economic Area (EEA) issuers and non-financial corporate bonds. Covered bonds must have a composite credit quality score of 3, while corporate bonds require a score of 2 or 3. Corporate bonds must have a maximum initial time to maturity of 10 years at issuance and all bonds must have a remaining time to maturity of at least one year at rebalancing. Covered bonds must maintain a minimum overcollateralization of 10% with publication according to Art. 129 (7) CRR publicly available. The index applies an issuer cap of 3%.
