The iBoxx EUR Corporates Yield Plus Index is designed to measure the performance of higher-yielding EUR-denominated corporate bonds with ratings between BB- and AAA. Fixed-rate bonds must have a minimum amount outstanding amount of EUR 500 million and a remaining time to maturity between 2 and 10 years at inclusion, with a minimum of 1.25 years for bonds already in the index. For senior callable bank bonds, the first call date is considered as the workout date if more than 11 months prior to maturity. The index is classified into Financials and Non-Financials sectors, with individual sector weights capped at 50%. The index selects the top 50% of bonds with the highest average benchmark spread from the iBoxx € Corporates 1-10, with an issuer cap of 5% and BB-rated bonds capped at 20%.
