The iBoxx € Collateralized 1-3 is designed to measure the performance of investment grade, EUR-denominated, fixed-rate collateralized debt instruments, with a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 500 million for new issues and EUR 1 billion for legacy bonds and between one and three years remaining time to maturity. The index consists of covered bonds, securitized bonds and other collateralized bonds whose cash flows can be determined in advance and are secured by either a general pool of assets (covered bonds), specific assets or receivables (ABS), mortgages (MBS) or other forms of collateral.
