Description
The iBoxx ChinaBond Government 1-10 Bond Index is designed to measure the performance of CNY-denominated sovereign bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China and Central Bank Bills in the China Interbank Market (CIBM). The index includes bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of CNY 10 billion, an initial time to maturity of at least 18 months at issuance and remaining time to maturity between 1 and 10 years at rebalancing. Bonds must trade in the CIBM, though bonds trading in multiple venues are eligible if the CIBM is one of them. Bonds exclusively traded on the Shanghai/Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Shanghai Free-trade Zone, OTC market, or settled/traded in Hong Kong, Macao or outside China are not eligible.
