Description
The iBoxx CAD Green Bonds Select is designed to measure the performance of CAD-denominated green bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of CAD 300 million. Securities must have a minimum initial time to maturity of 18 months at issuance and are held until maturity, with maturity extensions requiring a minimum of 18 months remaining time to maturity from the extension date. The index includes investment grade and sub-investment grade bonds that are not in default. Bonds must be classified as green bonds by the Climate Bond Initiative (CBI), adhering to CBI's Climate Bonds Taxonomy, going beyond self-labelling conventions.
