The iBoxx AUD Fixed Investment Grade Subordinated Debt Mid Price Index measures the performance of investment grade, AUD-denominated subordinated fixed and fixed-to-float debt in the Australian domestic market. The index comprises bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of AUD 300 million. Eligible bonds must have a minimum expected remaining life of at least one month at rebalancing, with newly issued bonds requiring an initial time to maturity of at least two years from first settlement date to maturity date, and expected remaining life must not exceed 10 years. The index includes subordinated debt issued by entities admitted to listing on exchanges that are members of World Federation of Exchanges or Federation of European Securities Exchanges, semi-government entities and entities prudentially regulated by APRA or equivalent foreign regulator, specifically within the corporate financials sector encompassing banks, insurance and financial services. The index focuses on Tier 2 Capital subordinated debt issued in compliance with APRA Rules and clearable through Austraclear Ltd., while excluding bonds with RD/SD ratings.
